Release a new revision when component requirements change. Existing work orders keep the requirements they were created with, while new orders use the current release.
And when you need a fuller product cost, add optional labour and overhead charges to the BOM without treating them as physical stock.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
The current version of RBW IMS is for Windows 11, with a shared local database for authorised users on the same PC. It is not presented as a cloud service or a multi-computer network deployment. Online integrations need an internet connection. A Linux version is in development; availability will be announced separately.
No. Core covers inventory, BOMs, manufacturing, purchasing, stocktakes and reporting. Sales integrations are optional licence features.
No. Cost-only items are optional. They add charges to BOM costs without consuming physical stock or appearing as stocktake items.
Yes. Multi-level bills of materials let you represent assemblies that contain components and subassemblies. Released revisions preserve the structure used for work-order requirements.

The application includes Help & Manual. Installation, Core user guidance and acceptance checks support setup and testing. Backup and recovery guidance includes the steps needed when restoring data and resetting MFA.
